We are thrilled to announce that "Jonathan's Miracle Feet," our latest DDC Africa documentary, has won the prestigious Grand Prix of the Universal Health Coverage category at the 4th Health for All Film Festival 2023. This recognition, given by the World Health Organization (WHO), celebrates the film industry and humanitarian activists dedicated to improving global health.

"Jonathan's Miracle Feet" is a captivating short documentary that showcases the remarkable work of Miracle Feet, an NGO based in North Carolina. Miracle Feet’s mission was to tackle clubfoot, a treatable birth defect that remains financially inaccessible for many countries. The film follows the inspiring journey of Jonathan, a young boy whose life is transformed through the non-invasive Ponseti method.

The success of this documentary is not only attributed to its compelling storytelling but also to the exceptional teamwork involved. Producer and supervisor Mamihasina Raminosoa, along with director Nantenaina Rakotondranivo, worked tirelessly on script development.
